One reason why I’m envious…

…of the US.

I haven’t really been an avid follower of US politics, or any country’s politics for that matter, but at this very moment, I could feel the flame burning brightly in the hearts of Americans.

Barack Obama, a simple man, with a simple, yet powerful, message: change.

He believes that every person can make a difference… that each individual has the capacity, whatever degree it may be, to do something, in order to build a better future.

He saw the ordinary man’s strength, because he is one.

He did not promise to save the country… because he knows that all Americans, including himself, can.

He gave them hope, because they felt something in him which they have not felt in a leader in a long time…

…his strong and inspiring faith in mankind.
