It’s about having a C-Section and being proud of it. Powerful read.
I am actually surprised that there are people who feel that having a C-Section is not actually giving birth. What or who gave them that idea? Obviously, they are uninformed. What they don’t know is that CS Mothers went through this feeling of fear, uncertainty and anxiety – What if I fall asleep and miss my baby’s first cry? What if I don’t wake up… ever? What if there will be complications? Will my husband be ok? Will my baby be able to endure the sudden change of environment? How will I be able to hold my baby with the painful scar? Will my baby be ok if I don’t survive?
I had a C-Section – It doesn’t mean I am less of a Mother. I gave birth to a beautiful baby whom I love more than my life. I provide, I take care, I nurture. And that makes me a Mom.
